Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has lamented the “insufficient response” of the international community to the latest bombings launched by Russia against the country, after a new wave of attacks in recent hours that left two dead on the border with Moldova and material damage in the capital, Kyiv.

“Unfortunately, the response of the international community to these attacks, which claim human lives almost daily, has been insufficient,” he said in a message on social media, emphasizing that “a reaction is necessary” against these actions by Russia.
“Moscow must not face the winter believing it can perpetrate acts of terror with missiles and drones without suffering consequences. This aggression must be stopped here and now, before it spreads even further,” the president said, reiterating that “it is essential that sanctions and support for Ukraine effectively contribute to achieving this goal.”

In this regard, he reiterated that “partners who can provide aid know exactly what is needed each day,” a day after revealing that he expects to meet this month with U.S. President Donald Trump to address the situation of Ukrainian air defense amid the war with Russia.
The new exchanges of attacks this week come after Trump’s envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, made a weekend visit to Russia and Ukraine to try to reactivate the diplomatic negotiation process to end the conflict, which was unleashed in February 2022 by the invasion order signed by Vladimir Putin.
