From the Transition to the pandemic: the dizzying 28 years of the Great Guachaca Summit

It was the 90s and Chile was experiencing a series of cultural changes due to globalization. This alerted three friends, who felt that the Creole traditions were being lost. When they found out that the Summit of the Americas would be held in Chile, they decided to organize their own gathering to rescue the essence of Chilean identity. Almost three decades after that milestone, the celebration continues and this year it will be held on September 5 and 6.
