Rescue teams were deployed to search for nine missing persons among the rubble of a shopping center in Ukraine, following a Russian drone attack that left at least 16 dead and more than 100 injured last Friday.

A total of nine people remain missing after the bombing that occurred in the city of Krivói Rog amid escalating tensions between the two countries.
It was the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, who reported on the search. “Specialists are removing the rubble and continue searching for people. Rescuers from seven regions and canine search teams are participating in the operation,” he specified via X.
“Protecting lives requires daily decisions and effective support from the world. At this moment, the supply of new ballistic missile interceptors and other missiles can be helpful,” he added.

Meanwhile, the president detailed that emergency services recorded at least 130 injured, including 23 children.
According to the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Oleksandre Ganja, 63 people were hospitalized overnight, 29 of them in serious condition.
