Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has once again lamented this Thursday the lack of sufficient projectiles in air defenses to repel Russian attacks, the latest of which killed eight people during the past night, and has urged his partners to take action, as, he emphasized, they all “know how and with what to help.”
“This is not a task that can be left only to Ukraine or to a single country. All partners know how and with what they can help,” Zelensky warned in a message in which, after lamenting these last eight deaths, he stressed, as usual, that this type of attack reveals the country’s armament shortages.
“This Russian terror once again shows that protection against the threat of Russian missiles is the most important task when it comes to saving the lives of our people,” he said, emphasizing that “untimely aid and delays in the delivery” of this type of missile lead to “this kind of destruction.”
Despite everything, the Ukrainian president highlighted the Ukrainian Army’s ability to overcome this “critical shortage” of armament and to have been able to achieve “truly incredible things” in defending the country.

“This is an extraordinary skill that saves lives when air defense missiles are not provided, or when deliveries are deliberately delayed,” the Ukrainian leader pointed out, estimating that more than 280 drones and over 70 missiles were launched by Russia during the past night.
At least eight people have died and more than thirty have been injured in attacks by the Russian Armed Forces during the past night on several areas of Ukraine, including the Dnipropetrovsk province, where the city of Kryvyi Rih is located, the hometown of Zelensky.
Additionally, more attacks have been recorded in the provinces of Kyiv, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
