The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, condemned this Thursday the violation of Polish airspace during the new wave of Russian attacks against western Ukraine.
“France condemns with the greatest firmness the Russian attacks that have caused the death of civilians in Ukraine, as well as the violation of Polish airspace,” the French leader said in a message on social media.
In any case, he emphasizes that support for Ukraine and the allies “will not falter.” “This is about our collective security,” he stressed.
Poland denounced this Thursday that a Russian projectile, probably a missile, violated Polish airspace and fell on Polish territory, in the framework of a “massive” attack by Moscow against Ukraine, an offensive that has left at least eight dead.
Russia launched new attacks overnight against several areas of Ukraine, including the Dnipropetrovsk province, where the city of Kryvyi Rih is located, the hometown of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
In the western part of the country, at least 26 people have been injured and two homes have suffered serious structural damage in the Russian Army’s offensive against the city of Lviv.
