“The strait is going to open very soon, or they will receive a very hard blow, and then the strait is going to open”, the president said in an interview with Fox shortly after suggesting that this very Tuesday the strategic enclave connecting the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman could be open.
In this way, the White House chief threatened that “if they back down again, they will get a good one.” “They know it, they understand it. I have no other choice. They cannot have a nuclear weapon, it’s very simple,” he said, linking the transit through the strategic passage with Iran’s nuclear program.
The Republican magnate boasted again that when the United States was preparing to launch a “tremendous attack” to the point of, he claimed, being “the greatest since World War II,” the Islamic Republic called him to ask to talk, after which those supposed bombings would have been suspended.
