The authorities of the Gaza Strip reported this Wednesday the death of 73,381 people, as well as another 174,231 injured, as a result of the military campaign launched by the Israeli Army on the Palestinian enclave in response to the attacks by Hamas and other Palestinian militias on October 7.

The Gaza Ministry of Health has detailed that in the last 24 hours four Palestinians have died at the hands of Israeli forces, although the figures are higher since dozens of lifeless bodies remain trapped under the rubble, or access has not been possible due to Israeli restrictions.
Despite the ceasefire agreed upon by Hamas and Israel on October 11, 2025, to implement the United States’ peace proposal, the attacks have not ceased and 1,254 people have died since that date, as well as another 4,121 injured.

On Tuesday, a mass burial of up to 112 members of the same family took place in Gaza City, after many of the bodies could be recovered from the rubble of the houses where they lived in the Al Sabra neighborhood, in southern Gaza, attended by thousands of people.
“The largest funeral in contemporary Palestinian history,” defined Jadou Abu Sharia, representative of the Abu Sharia al Hasayna clan, according to the Wafa news agency. In total, 308 people from this family have died under the Israeli attacks, the first of which was on October 20, 2023.
