This time the fiction will focus mainly on the politician’s second term as president of Argentina, between 1995 and 1999. A period in which the intersection between politics and spectacle was exacerbated.
“Surrounded by political enemies and harassed by an increasingly combative press, his public image collapses at the same pace as the economy,” the platform stated.
“The frivolous gestures that used to be amusing are no longer enough. Between meetings with Madonna, Ferrari rides, and delirious statements about space flights, the season covers the most emblematic anecdotes of a president who combined power with spectacle,” it added.

The series will again feature Sbaraglia and Minujín at the head of the cast, and will once again be creatively led by Ariel Winograd.
