Specifically, Tehran’s attack occurred after a US assault on four Iranian drones heading to the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to a bombing of two surveillance radar stations on Qeshm and Goruk islands.
The operation, according to the United States Central Command (Centcom), was carried out after determining that these represented an “immediate threat” to military and commercial maritime traffic passing through that waterway.
In this delicate ceasefire, the exchange of attacks over the Gulf persisted. This was reflected by the sirens that were activated this Saturday in Bahrain and Kuwait. According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, IRNA, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard targeted North American bases.

The Bahrain Defense Force stated that “Iran continues its systematic hostile approach through its sinful missile and drone attacks, targeting civilians in Bahrain.”
The Kuwaiti army, for its part, confirmed the detection and interception of seven hostile ballistic missiles within Kuwaiti airspace, with some fragments falling over several residential areas. Thus, they stressed that the attack did not cause casualties, but did cause material damage.
