The Government of Iran has considered that the “list of crimes” of the United States “keeps growing,” while emphasizing Tehran’s “determination” to “seek justice” in order to “prosecute and punish the perpetrators” of them, following the latest waves of attacks exchanged between Washington and the Islamic Republic in the Middle East.
“The list of crimes of the United States against Iranians keeps growing and, with each passing day, the United States reveals a new facet of its hatred towards Iran,” said the spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baqaei, in a message published on social media.
In this regard, he lamented that in an attack carried out on Tuesday by the U.S. Army against a security post located in the small town of Seyed Jozar, in Hayi Abad county, in northern Hormozgan, at least three people lost their lives.
“This is just the latest example of the atrocious war crimes committed by the United States in the last four and a half months,” Baqaei said, recalling attacks such as the one carried out against a school in Minab in which more than a hundred female students died.
Regarding this, the Iranian spokesperson highlighted that “each new crime” strengthens “the determination of Iranians to seek justice and to prosecute and punish the perpetrators and those responsible for these crimes.”
Baqaei’s statements come in a week marked by several consecutive days of attacks exchanged between the United States and Iran in the Middle East, to which is added the announcement by the United States of the imposition of a blockade on Iranian ports in the strategic Strait of Hormuz area, whose enforcement was set for 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
