The Israeli Army has once again broken the ceasefire in effect since June and bombed areas of the Nabatiyeh district in the south of the country on Tuesday night, according to the country’s authorities on Wednesday.

The attacks targeted the Ali al Taher area, although there is currently no information about victims, injuries, or material damage, according to reports from the Lebanese agency NNA, which has released images of the area where the explosion occurred.
Subsequently, sources close to the matter reported that several jets of the Israeli Air Force attacked a house in Al Fauqa, also in Nabatiyeh, during the night.

On June 26, Lebanon and Israel reached a preliminary agreement with the mediation of the United States that laid the foundations for a permanent ceasefire and included the restoration of Lebanese sovereignty in the south of the country, but also the disarmament of the Shiite party-militia Hezbollah, an issue that the group has fully rejected.
Since then, Israel has cited security reasons and Hezbollah’s refusal of the agreement to justify continuing its military operations in southern Lebanon.
