A spokesperson for the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs thus lamented the announcement made last week by the U.S. State Department, which reported the approval of this measure, according to information from the North Korean news agency KCNA.

“The aforementioned acts constitute further proof of the persistence and sequence of hostile actions by the United States to add a new threat to North Korea’s security sphere and generate instability in the social system of our State,” the spokesperson said.
In this regard, he pointed out that “reality clearly demonstrates the activity and zeal with which the United States tries to expand the threat against the country”. “We once again unequivocally recognize the openly hostile attitude of the United States towards North Korea,” he said, while threatening “immediate and strong responses to counter these actions.”
