The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated this Wednesday that the latest attack launched by the U.S. Army against Iran was “hard” and destroyed new military equipment, and, although he threatened new military attacks, he predicted that the American offensive will not be prolonged over time.
“Last night we dealt them a hard blow. We destroyed all the new equipment they were trying to install along the Strait of Hormuz”, said the U.S. leader in statements from the White House about the latest armed exchange with the Islamic Republic.
“It was a very intense attack last night and we are ready to launch another whenever we want,” he added, pointing out that Washington left Iran without radars, along with emphasizing that the U.S. maintains “control” over the strategic maritime passage.
Before journalists, Trump also insisted that his main goal is that Tehran cannot develop a nuclear weapon “as soon as this ends,” referring to the war.

“Which I don’t think will take much longer. I don’t know how much longer they can hold on, but whatever it is, it doesn’t matter,” he added about the timeline he manages regarding his offensive on Iranian territory.
At the event, the Republican leader also rejected that the midterm elections – known as “midterms” and which will renew the U.S. Capitol – influence his offensive in the Middle East.
“The election doesn’t affect me. First of all, I’m not running, but my party is, and I’m going to help my party. But I think my party respects the fact that we don’t allow it,” he said about Iran’s nuclear aspirations, as the war surpasses six months.
