Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, celebrated new long-range attacks on Russian oil facilities this Thursday, as well as on vessels of the so-called Kremlin ‘ghost fleet’ in the Black Sea.
These attacks aim to “limit Russia’s oil revenues,” which it uses to finance the war, he said. Such offensives have recently become a constant, while some supply shortages are already being recorded in Russia.
On this occasion, it was the turn of a Bashneft-Novoil refinery, a state-owned petroleum products company in the Republic of Bashkortostan, more than 1,300 kilometers from the front line; and another from the Slavneft-Yanos company in Yaroslavl, almost 700 kilometers from the border, Zelenskyy pointed out.

Likewise, he also celebrated the “successful” operations that Ukrainian forces have recently launched over the Black Sea. “Two military patrol boats and vessels of the shadow fleet were attacked,” he reported.
Zelenskyy thanked the Army for having expanded, he said, Ukraine’s strike capabilities beyond its own borders and thus increasing “the possibilities for diplomacy. Russia must choose peace,” he concluded.
