The great history is being rewritten on stage. This August 27, Club Chocolate will be the venue for “Volver a la Ley: Sesiones 88/90,” a unique concert that will bring together part of the original lineup of La Ley to relive the repertoire that marked the birth of one of the most influential and international Chilean music groups.

The show is part of the “Volver a la Ley” project, an initiative dedicated to rescuing and valuing the band’s early years through reissues, research, and live performances. On this occasion, keyboardist Rodrigo “Coti” Aboitiz, bassist Luciano Rojas, and singer Shía Arbulú will share the stage again after decades, reconnecting with songs that remained off the stage for almost 40 years.
Under the name “Sesiones 88/90,” the tour celebrates the great reception of the vinyl reissue of La Ley’s first two cassettes, material that originated the band’s sound in the late 1980s and that today awakens the interest of new generations and the followers who accompanied their first steps.
More than a concert, the presentation will offer an audiovisual experience specially designed for the occasion. Thanks to innovative image and sound work, the audience will be able to virtually reconnect with two essential figures in the band’s history: Andrés Bobe, through archival recordings of his original Fender Stratocaster guitars, and Beto Cuevas, whose voice will also be part of this proposal, creating an emotional tribute to La Ley’s musical legacy.

The show will also feature guest musicians, who already participated in the official launch of the first vinyl reissue of the band’s historic debut cassette, adding a new dimension to these compositions that marked the beginning of a fundamental career for Latin American rock and pop.
With a staging that combines history, technology, and emotion, “Volver a la Ley: Sesiones 88/90” promises to become one of the most special musical encounters of the year, offering the unique opportunity to hear live again the songs that gave life to La Ley’s first chapters.
