To confirm that some information reached Donald Trump, the keyword is “printed.” Natalie Harp, one of the closest collaborators of the U.S. president, is living up to her nickname of “the human printer” by conveying messages to the Republican in the way she knows best: printing them out.

It is known that Harp, 35, carries a portable printer to present Trump with printed copies of all his social media activity. This includes posts on platforms or opinion articles expressing support, as that is the method the White House occupant prefers to review content.
Although omnipresent, Harp’s profile was not particularly known outside the political world. Now, after a Democratic senator mentioned her in an attack on Trump, the spotlight turned to her.
Democrat Jon Ossoff, senator from Georgia, is campaigning for reelection in November, and in a recent speech he mentioned Natalie Harp. In his address, he referred to the president and his priorities, suggesting that he would rather spend his time with Harp than doing his job.
“While the sailors of the Lincoln fight in his war, while he uselessly depletes our ammunition and oil reserves, the president falls asleep during his meetings, plays golf, and trades stocks”, Ossoff said at a campaign rally.
“He doesn’t want to do the work. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie in his flying palace, apparently defenseless, gifted by the Emir of Qatar,” the Democratic senator said. This referred to the secret plane change he once made in Ankara, amid an alleged assassination attempt by Iran, which included Harp.
The Republicans responded immediately, and White House communications director Steven Cheung, changing the senator’s last name, said: “Jon Jackoff has to be the biggest coward and loser in politics. Instead of denigrating hardworking people who serve their country, Jon should look deep into his soul and ask why he is a miserable person who hates this country.”
A military-style attack was directed by White House spokesman Davis Ingle, asserting that Ossoff is a “effeminate theater boy who causes secondhand embarrassment and plays at being Barack Obama”, as well as an “insignificant loser.”
Over the years, Harp has become one of Trump’s closest personal assistants and, in particular, a strong source of highly trusted information. Thus, she is often seen accompanying him to Mar-a-Lago and his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Her political career began when she shared in 2019 her experience surviving bone cancer, which she attributed to Trump’s health policies. “I am no longer dying of cancer. Thanks to President Trump, I am living with cancer”, she said on “Fox & Friends.” She began working as the Republican’s personal assistant in 2022.
One of her main functions is to provide Trump with a constant flow of positive news, opinion articles, and social media comments, while also showing him criticisms directed at his opponents. After gathering the content, she prints it so the president can physically see it.
By establishing herself as the source of positive comments and informal communications for Trump, Harp has become a key piece of the president’s team in the White House. Her devotion to the president is such that she has written him very heartfelt letters in which she says: “You are the only thing that matters to me,” according to The New York Times.
Apparently, Trump reciprocates these feelings, and journalist Maggie Haberman said on MSNBC that he treats Harp as his “Binkie” (pacifier) or “his security blanket.”
Harp’s unwavering loyalty to Trump has sparked speculation about the close relationship they maintain. Preston Harp, her brother, described the bond between the president and his sister as “very unhealthy” in an interview with The Daily Mail.
Haberman and journalist Jonathan Swan also wrote in their book “Regime Change,” published in July, that Harp left “flattering and intimate” letters for Trump that “made the Secret Service raise their eyebrows during the campaign,” Swan told CNN last month.
“She is totally devoted to him. In Oval Office meetings, she sits in the chair located to one side of the room with her laptop open,” Swan said.
