An explosion in a restaurant caused the death of at least two people and left more than a dozen injured in the center of Moscow, in Russia.

According to the report by the agency RIA Novosti, it is an incident recorded at 19:55 local time, in which a homemade explosive device was detonated in the restaurant Balzi Ross, located in Kudrinskaya square in Moscow.
In that regard, it was pointed out that an unknown woman tried to bring the mentioned explosive device into the establishment, but a security guard prevented her access. However, the device reportedly exploded anyway and preliminarily caused the death of its carrier and another customer.
So far, the local Russian media have not specified the exact number of affected. On one hand, the agency TASS reported the death of three people and 15 injured of varying severity. However, RIA Novosti reported two dead and about 21 injured.

After the explosion was recorded, investigators and criminologists from the Main Investigation Department of the Russian Federation for Moscow were deployed to the site to carry out the first procedures and clarify the circumstances and motivations that could be behind the incident.
Meanwhile, the advisor to the Minister of Health, Alexey Kuznetsov, stated that the injured have been assisted. “The victims of the explosion in the Moscow restaurant are receiving all the necessary medical attention”, he said.
