French authorities confirmed this Wednesday that they are investigating the death of Daniel Siad, whose lifeless body appeared on Monday in his home. He is a figure linked to American sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, for whom he allegedly recruited women.

According to confirmation to Europa Press by the Nanterre prosecutor’s office, an investigation has been opened to clarify the causes of Siad’s death after the discovery of his body in a home in Colombes.
Thus, the Hauts de Seine security forces have taken charge of the investigation and, in this context, an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

The Nanterre court, specializing in human trafficking crimes, maintained an open investigation into the 69-year-old French businessman for his alleged role in Epstein’s network in Europe, where he supposedly recruited women.
Said appears in more than a thousand documents in the so-called Epstein emails, declassified earlier this year by the US Department of Justice, in which he compared his work to fishing.
