The art of revisiting one’s own past
This release is not an isolated event, but part of a sophisticated musical archaeology that the Chilean multi-instrumentalist has been successfully developing. “Hablar de Ti” joins an acclaimed catalog of recent stellar reworks of his repertoire, highlighting high-impact collaborations such as “INVIERNO (en la playa)” with Argentine Daniela Spalla, “LOS BARCOS (se van)” with Macario Martínez, and “SER AMIGOS (olvida)” in collaboration with the pop bolero duo Daniel, Me Estás Matando. With this exercise, Gepe demonstrates his versatility to refresh his classics and expand his artistic identity at the regional forefront.
The piece was produced by Gepe himself and the outstanding producer Julian Bernal. The single and its video are already available on all digital streaming platforms.
