Iran’s Army claimed on Wednesday a drone attack against a garrison of the United States Armed Forces in western Kuwait and Jordan, as well as a second attack in Bahrain against an Amazon facility it called the “digital eye” of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).

“In response to the enemy’s repeated aggression against parts of our country, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran (…) attacked a few hours ago the ammunition depots and the command center of the US Army ground forces in the Doha garrison, west of Kuwait, with a large number of destructive drones,” the Iranian military branch stated in a communiqué released by the Tasnim agency, linked to the Revolutionary Guard.
In the same document, Iranian forces described this garrison as “one of the most important US military bases in western Kuwait and a support center for US troops in West Asia,” assuring that “a large number of US ground, military, naval, and air personnel” are deployed there.
Subsequently, it stated that it also attacked with drones an “equipment warehouse” of the United States Army at the Al Azraq base in Jordan, which, for its part, announced the downing of four missiles “launched from Iranian territory.”
“Air defense systems shot down four missiles, while two impacted remote and uninhabited areas, causing no casualties or material damage,” the Jordanian Army stated in a communiqué.
Likewise, it emphasized that experts are already deployed in the area to deactivate possible explosives among the debris, while also highlighting that it will continue to monitor the airspace to “deal with any aerial object that poses a threat” and “ensure the protection of the country’s sovereignty and the safety of its citizens.”

Shortly after, the same body announced another attack against “Amazon’s central data infrastructure in Bahrain,” which it defined as “one of the key nodes for information exchange with the US military,” as well as “a large warehouse” and a “maintenance and repair facility” at the Sheikh Isa base.
“Amazon’s facilities in Bahrain constitute the main artery and the central hub for intelligence processing for Washington and its allies in the Persian Gulf,” the Iranian Army alleged.
In this regard, it highlighted that the company owned by Jeff Bezos “is one of the four main contractors for the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capabilities (JWCC) contract of the United States Department of War,” before arguing that the aforementioned project “allows the Pentagon to deploy cloud computing tools, data analytics, and artificial intelligence in the operational environment and at regional bases.”
This is the second attack in just under 24 hours against this data center, after the Revolutionary Guard announced on Tuesday morning the launch of “several cruise missiles” against this location, which it claimed to have destroyed.
The Guard itself also announced, on Tuesday night, another attack against Kuwait targeting “an early warning radar, a complex of tactical radars around the Ali al Salem base, and another radar system on Bubiyan Island in Kuwait,” in line with the latest operations of the military body, which has sought to disable US surveillance and air defense systems in the Middle East.
