The American media indicated that Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and other cities in the country were also under attack, while authorities remained on alert for the possibility of new bombings.
“The threat of new attacks remains,” said Klitschko, who urged the population to stay in shelters.
The offensive occurs a few hours after the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, revealed that he had received a report from the Air Force warning that Russia was preparing a “massive attack” against Kiev.

“There is a high probability that the attack will take place tonight,” Zelensky had stated.
The new bombing also occurs one day after the Ukrainian leader met with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, at the White House, an occasion in which he requested the sending of additional air defense systems to protect the country from Russian attacks.
So far, Ukrainian authorities have not reported a preliminary balance of victims or damage as a result of the offensive, while the situation continues to develop.
