The acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Friday the execution of a “master plan” for the “integral” reconstruction of Venezuela, aimed especially at the priority attention of the areas most affected by the double earthquake and the “urgent” restoration of public services and the economy.

“The double earthquake has called us to tireless work to recover the state of La Guaira, El Junquito and the affected areas in Aragua, Falcón, Carabobo and Yaracuy. But I have also called for the spiritual reconstruction of Venezuela,” Rodríguez affirmed in a military commemoration act for Navy Day.
Similarly, the president emphasized that the priority of government actions will focus on the most vulnerable populations and immediate attention to the victims of the earthquakes.
“It is a master plan that must guide the attention of those who need it most and, in this specific case, urgently accelerate the construction of housing for those who were direct victims of the earthquake, as well as recover public services,” she added.
Likewise, Rodríguez stressed the need to overcome the effects caused by the economic blockade through an approach that prioritizes both “human development” and “infrastructure.”
“Recover it inch by inch with a well-structured plan, which also means human recovery in education and work; not just infrastructure, but a comprehensive master plan,” she concluded.
