Under the title La noche de las espaldas, and directed by Marcelo Leonart (“Noche Mapuche”, “La casa de los monstruos”), the play presents the moving encounter between a public defender lawyer and a young repeat offender whom she has defended since he was just nine years old.
Two lives on the margins of justice face each other in a single night in an encounter as unexpected as it is unsettling. What begins as a domestic invasion soon turns into an intense verbal duel that forces both to confront their respective beliefs and to brutally face what inevitably unites them: a deep loneliness.
The project is funded by the National Fund for the Promotion and Development of Performing Arts, 2026 Call, of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage.
