The UK Government has responded to Iran that the Army is ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to defend against a potential Iranian attack, after Tehran assured that the country is a legitimate target after allowing British bases to be used for the launch of US attacks in the Central Asian country.
In statements reported by ‘Telegraph’ newspaper, the British Executive has responded to the threats from the Islamic Republic by saying that the Armed Forces are “ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to defend” the United Kingdom from “any type of attack, whether on its territory or from abroad.”
It also emphasized that it maintains a tiered approach to air and missile defense, involving the Royal Navy, the British Army, and the Royal Air Force, “equipped with a wide range of advanced capabilities, in close collaboration with our NATO allies.”
“The UK’s stance on the conflict remains the same: we are committed to defending our people, our interests, and our allies, acting in accordance with International Law and without being drawn into a wider conflict,” said the British Government, which with the arrival of Andy Burnham has continued the policy of allowing US military operations, within the framework of the war against Iran.

This message comes after Iran has targeted the United Kingdom, following the US attack with a B-1 bomber deployed at Fairford air base, in Gloucestershire county, in the southwest of the UK.
The warning was reiterated this Friday by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, who said that “participation, cooperation, or assistance in the commission of acts of aggression against Iran will generate international responsibility for the parties involved.”
Thus, he indicated that Tehran “reserves the right to take all necessary measures within the framework of legitimate self-defense.”
