The Kremlin pointed out this Thursday the United Kingdom as one of the main parties responsible for maintaining military support to Ukraine and for doing “everything possible” to soothe the signs of “fatigue” that, in its opinion, are beginning to emerge in other countries in the region.

“There is a core of countries in Europe that are increasing their involvement in this war – whether direct, technological, technical, etc. – for example, the United Kingdom,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a press conference.
“Those countries are doing everything possible to stop this fatigue and, conversely, to encourage European countries by all possible means to continue this war,” Peskov said.
The bad relationship between London and Moscow has escalated several notches as a result of renewed military support to Ukraine, to the point that Russia has warned of reprisals beyond the territories where this war is being fought if its interests are at risk.
“We have the right to consider the proud declaration about the direct involvement of British missiles in attacks against Russia as participation in a war, with all the consequences that entails,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov this week.

On the other hand, the Kremlin spokesman also ruled out a new meeting in the coming days between representatives of Moscow and envoys of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff.
Thus, Peskov reported that no “specific dates” have been set for a next visit by Trump’s delegates. “As far as we know, the American negotiators are actively working in other areas of their foreign policy,” he limited himself to saying.
“They are always welcome in Moscow. They are always welcome interlocutors”, added Peskov who, on the other hand, also ruled out a peaceful solution for the war in Ukraine, given the current situation on the front and the Ukrainian attacks on Russian soil. “Given the stance of the Kiev regime, there is no reason for optimism,” he concluded.
